CHARGEFOR ECONOMIC EXPLANATION OF CULTURAL BEANS INCREASED FOR 1/3RD

With the arrival of the new municipal government, Kotor can confidently say that the city is in the age of fiscal consolidation and budget discipline, which shows the level of collection of almost all public revenues, as well as rationalized budget spending. One of the indicators is also the fee for the economic exploitation of cultural goods, which is the increase of municipal budget revenues on this basis in the first half of 2017.

In the municipal cash register, from the 1st of January to the 30th of June, EUR 121,346 was paid as compensation for the economic exploitation of cultural assets, which is one third more than the volume of realized public revenues on this basis in the same period last year, during the previous government. Based on this compensation in 2016, the amount collected was only 80,232 euros.

Exceptional fiscal effects can not come by themselves - they are the result of a strong will to reform the way public money is managed. For us, the cultural assets of Kotor are above all the basic values that deserve the highest level of consideration, and cultural development is a true priority, because without it there is no essential socio-economic development.

If you take care of each cent, the results in the field of fiscal consolidation and the economic progress of the city will not be absent. For each cent we can deposit bills to all citizens of Kotor. In order to speak at all about an efficient system of public revenues, the rules must be applied consistently and indiscriminately.

It is beyond any doubt, and the above facts confirm, that the cultural capital of Montenegro - Kotor is returning its old glory and it is bringing more and more attention on the international field as well. We are successfully working on the preservation and valorization of all the goods of our city, and we guarantee that the time of submission to the will of the powerful has passed, and that those who by their act or omission violated the cultural heritage of Kotor and its famous signs of recognition went to the infamous political history.
