The Steering Committee of the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities

From July 4th until July 8th it was held The Steering Committee of the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities in San Benedetto, Italy. Forum aims to promote contemporary forms of decentralization, cooperation and partnership between the local authorities of partner countries. The Steering Committee discussed several important issues concerning the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region: infrastructure projects, tourism, culture and environment.On behalf of the Municipality of Kotor meeting was attended by Mr Đorđije Vukčević, the General Administrator of the municipality and Mrs Lena Pasinović, Advisor for International Relations and Protocol.Adriatic-Ionian macro-region represents an innovative structure of inter-regional and transnational co-operation, all in order to strengthen democratic processes and faster integration of the Balkan countries in the EU.
