LOCAL COMMUNITIES GET THEIR OWN COMMUNAL POLICE
The local government expects that the formal separation of the Communal Inspection from the Communal Police will contribute to the overall improvement of the situation in the areas of communal order and peace.
In order to achieve this objective, it is necessary to strengthen the Communal Police in terms of staff, so new personell are engaged in the affairs of municipal police officers. In this way, it is possible for the local communities in the Kotor municipality to have one active municipal police officer who will regularly visit the field for which he is in charge for faster and more efficient resolution of communal problems.
The idea that the local communities should receive their communal policemen came during the recent visits of the President of the Kotor Municipality, Vladimir Jokic, with the Vice-Presidents of the Municipality and other associates, the local communities Muo, Prcanj, Stoliv, Perast and Risan. By placing communal police officers in local communities, the promise that President Jokic and his associates have given to the citizens will be fulfilled, as well as the conditions created for these areas to receive the necessary communal supervision and improve the situation in the field of communal order.
Local authorities and local communities expect that preventive action in order to prevent the violation of communal order, which is also within the competence of the communal police, will give good results in the field.
Cases that require the conduct of the inspection procedure will remain within the jusristicion of the Communal Inspection.
