At the invitation of the City of Prerov, the Czech Republic, the Kotor municipality delegation, consisting of the President of the Municipal Assembly of Kotor, Dragica Perovic, the Mayor of the Municipal Assembly of Kotor, Maja Mršulja, adviser to the Cabinet of President Aleksandar Milic, visited the city from 04.08. to 06.08.2017. on the occasion of the 15th Vavrick Festival.

During their stay, the delegation of the Municipality of Kotor followed a two-day program of the festival, attended the concerts of local and foreign performers and visited an exhibition of local artists called Art Cuijk.

A special tour of the city was organized as part of the program, visits to the cultural institutions and landmarks, such as the Town Hall, medieval fortifications, Prerov castle Château, Tyršův bridge and the river Bečva, Archaeological Museum Comenius, the Church of St. George, and besides the representative of the Municipality of Kotor, Pevrov was also visited by the delegation of the Netherlands, Polish, Slovak Republic, Ukraine, as well as distinguished guests of the Czech culture.

During the meeting with the Mayor Prerova - Vladimir Puchalsky, president of the Municipal Assembly of Kotor Dragica Perovic exchanged the experience in all areas of importance to the life and development of both cities.

On this occasion, she said that the Municipality of Kotor expected return visit due to the warm hospitality the delegation received, sp we could jointly commemorate the historic date, the centenary ,,Riots sailors in the Bay 1918" and pay tribute to the sailor casualties, including the life lost of František Rasch, a native of Prerov city.

Recognizing  the signed charter on cooperation, friendship and partnership of the Municipality of Kotor and the city of Prerov, as well as previous experience and work, representatives of both cities will try to improve future relations and through other forms of cooperation.
