Visit of potential investitors

The mayor of the Municipality of Kotor, Ms Marija Ćatović met yesterday with a delegation of Japanese company SEC.  The company announced a potential investment in our market of about 100 million dollars. They showed interest in the field of tourism, Health and Education. Since the guests expressed their enthusiasm with Kotor and its surroundings, they requested a documentation on possible investments and get a CD with the presentation of municipal property.

Kotor  has been presented as an attractive investment destination.  The mayor Ms Marija Ćatović has pointed to locations and objects that might be of interest for investment at the territory of the municipality of Kotor.

The members of the delegation expressed their interest in investing in the sector of tourism and hospitality, specifically for the reconstruction of the existing hotel capacity. Exploring the potential of Kotor - hotel "Fjord" has attracted the greatest attention, as well as hotel "Teuta" in Risan.

With colleagues, the mayor of the municipality of Kotor expressed a willingness to cooperate with the investors, which is an important step for the improvement of the labor market, creating job positions and increase local government revenue.
