IN THE KOTOR'S "KOMUNALNO" INTENSIVE WORKS WITH THE ANTICIPATION OF NEW VEHICLES AND CONTAINERS

In "Komunalno" d.o.o. Kotor this year's season is marked through numerous work activities. Given that the new local government has found unfavorable circumstances in this public company, which in particular refers to the lack of garbage containers and the fact that three vehicles were found in the parking lot, all of which proved to be defective, necessary activities were undertaken in order to improve the situation in these segments .

In accordance with the Law on Public Procurement, a procedure for procurement of 30 plastic and 225 metal containers of 1,100 liters is under way, with estimated total value of 100,000 euros. The public opening of offers is scheduled for September 15 of this year.

A public procurement procedure for a new freight vehicle - a waste disposal car, estimated value of 100,000 euros with VAT, was also carried out.

Also, the finalization of the tender documents for the purchase of a new cargo vehicle - an Abroll container lifter, is estimated at EUR 170,000 with the VAT.

In addition to the procurement of new containers and vehicles, the activities of Kotor utilities aimed at maintaining cleanliness and public green spaces have been intensified in recent months.

In co-operation with the Communal Company from Tivat, Komunalno Kotor hired a street washing machine for two days, so the promenade from the pharmacy on Plagenta to the building of the former residental resort Senta was cleaned, as well as the area in the Old Town around the Cathedral of St. Tripun, the municipality building and the Assembly, the street behind the city clock, as well as the clearing at the entrance in front of the main city gate.

In Risan, 123 palm trees were processed, and all public green areas in the municipality are regularly maintained and watered.

At the cemetery of Vrbica in Dobrota, the entrance was restored, where water was pouring for a long time.

Garbage collection is done with exceptionally enhanced dynamics, and in some locations and three times a day, so about 60 tons of garbage are dislocated daily from the area of Kotor municipality.

Also, the activities of "Komunalnog" in all manifestations in this year's cultural summer have been enhanced.
