MORE THAN A HALF OF PREVIOUSLY HANDED CASES RESOLVED IN TWO MONTHS

24.06.2017.
MORE THAN A HALF OF PREVIOUSLY HANDED CASES RESOLVED IN TWO MONTHS

After many years, the Municipalty of Kotor municipality can finally point at a remarkable improvement in administrative efficiency. How the one of the basic tasks of the new local government is the dedicated work of the administration that is in the interests of all citizens is shown by the fact that the inherited burden of the unresolved administrative cases has been more than halved in a short period of time.

The figures are the best indicator of the situation, but also of the achievements of the new local government. On April 18, 306 extremely important and complex, but unresolved administrative cases, or cases that were not resolved in a timely manner, were found in the service of the ChiefAdministrative Officer of the Municipality of Kotor.

By the beginning of June, 162 cases were resolved. Nothing but that level of improvement in administrative efficiency preconditions for full realization of citizens' rights can be established, as well as for stimulating economic environment in which the time and resources of citizens and entrepreneurs would not be wasted.

Unlike the previous local government, which was preoccupied with its own privileges, our policy is not the accumulation of unresolved administrative cases. The municipal authority must be citizen-friendly.

The local administration in Kotor for a long time was a service of an irresponsible political elite, to which the administrative items of the citizens were of less importance. We promised that most of the backlogs will be resolved in the following two months, and our promises are what we adhere to.

In simplest terms, administrative drawers will no longer be an address for citizens' rights and their requests. Administrative procedures and the protection of citizens' rights will be based on the principle of maximum efficiency, where the new local government will guarantee for it.

It is in the interest of the citizens of Kotor to establish a modern, efficient and competent local government, so we will continue to work on a daily basis. Our vision of a local government that is responsible for complying with regulations, as well as for achieving concrete and measurable results, begins to be established in our municipality.
