RECEPTION OF THE VK PRIMORAC YOUNG CADETS

After a series of notable successes achieved in the past three years, the President of the Municipality of Kotor Vladimir Jokic and his associates received today the most successful water polo selection not only in Kotor, but also in Montenegro - the young cadets of VK "Primorac".These young water polo players, born in 2004 and younger, are already three-time champions of Montenegro, twice winners of the Cup of Montenegro, and two consecutive winners of regional competitions Olympic hopes. They have also achieved success (third place) in unofficial European championships, last year in Dubrovnik and this year in Italy.Led by coach Mladjan Tujkovic, today's reception was attended by all members of this successful selection: Jacob Bulajić, Balsa Vuckovic Luka Samardzic, Nikola Vukcevic, Joseph Reichel, Milos Vuksic, Paul Krivokapic, Timur Maksutov, Luke Gopčević, Nedjo Baštrica, Milan Vulovic, Nikola Brankovic , Viktor Scepanovic, Balsa Djurovic and Neđeljko Tujković.The reception was also attended by the Director of VK "Primorac" Dragan Samardzic, technical director of the Club Vedran Milosevic and coach of the first team Primorac Petar Vico.

President Jokić congratulated the young water polo players for their exceptional success, and the conversation was dedicated to the need to jointly provide the best terms for the training of water polo clubs from Kotor in coordination with local administrations in Budva and Herceg Novi.

At the meeting, the problem of reconstruction of the indoor pool was also emphasized, with a common appeal that the works should be brought to an end.

On this occasion, President Jokic again sent a letter to the Directorate of Public Works of Montenegro and asked Director Almer Kalaca to relay information on the status of the rehabilitation process of the Niksa Bucin pool, with data on all completed and remaining jobs, as well as the time period for which the pool will be completely reconstructed.

In his letter, President Jokić emphasized that the winter pool "Nikša Bućin" is a sports facility of special importance for the Municipality of Kotor and Montenegro, which use two clubs for carrying out the training process in all categories, which means that every day the sport deals with three hundred children - the first club teams play domestic, regional and European competitions. According to President Jokic, if the pool is not rehabilitated by and is not ready for smooth operation of training processes by October 15 this year, water polo as a sport will be under question when it comes to Kotor.

President Jokić also requested relevant data on the rehabilitation of the indoor pool from the contractor - "ERLANG" d.o.o. From Podgorica.
