The opening ceremony of St. Paul church

The reconstructed of St. Paul church in the Old City was officially opened by Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr Milo Đukanović. Guests were welcomed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Kotor, Mrs Marija Ćatović.

Municipality of Kotor has invested nearly one million euro to buildings reconstructed and restored through the Directorate for Planning and Construction of the City.

During official opening of the reconstructed church, Prime Minister, Mr Đukanović, inter alia, said: ''For Montenegro these signs are important heritage feature of her life and civilization walk... Montenegro has the privilege that on a small area connects peoples and religions and to build its modern identity in the cultural richness.
These monuments and historical heritage of Kotor and Montenegro testifies that Montenegro has always been a part of European civilization, and that is for his achievements and accomplishments belonged to modern Europe...''
